  1. SPEAKING CLOCK

  4. This application provides a WIMP front-end for the speaking clock application   produced by Edward Petrie-Smith . The speech! Module used in this application isproduced by Superior Software 1991 and should be placed in this application     before using it .

To use, double-click on the !Time application ; this will install the Speaking  clock icon on the icon-bar. Clicking 'select' on this icon will tell the        application to speak the current time of the computers internal clock  through  the speaker . Clicking 'menu' on this icon provides a menu with the following   options:

  8.     Info         - gives information about the program;
  9.  
  10.     Quit         - quits the program and removes the icon from the icon-bar .                      It doesn't however Kill the Speech! Module

  12. To change the time , use the !Alarm application on the RISC OS Application Disc 2 .
